About Us
De Vries means "the Frisian" - a name with roots along the North Sea. It's a name that travels well. So does what we make.
How It Started
DeVries Apparel started with a simple observation - something was missing. The menswear market was full of brands chasing trends or selling basics - but very little existed for the man who wants quality without the performance of it. Someone who appreciates considered design, clean construction, and garments that hold up.
We partnered with a group of designers in the Netherlands to build the foundations - the original collections, the design language, the standard everything would be measured against. That Dutch design sensibility set the direction and still runs through everything we make.
Where We Are Now
What started in the Netherlands has grown into something global. Our design process now draws from a wider team, but the principles haven't shifted. Every piece still begins with decisions about weight, cut, and construction - fabric that softens without losing structure, seams that sit flat, embroidery that holds its detail wash after wash. The things you notice after six months, not on day one.
Made When You Order It
We produce to order. When you place an order, your piece is printed, finished, and shipped directly to you. No warehouses full of unsold stock. No overproduction. No waste. Production takes 3 to 5 business days - each garment exists because someone chose it, not because a forecast predicted they might.
What We Make
T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, caps, bags, and more. Foundational pieces built around clean cuts and considered construction. Our core collections - Essential, Flagship, and Coordinates - each carry a different weight and detail level, all built to the same standard: put it on, reach for it first, and find it still holding its shape seasons later. And we're just getting started.
The DA Monogram
The DA mark is carried, not displayed. Embroidered on caps, woven into labels, placed where it belongs - not where it shouts.
Born in the Netherlands. Built globally.
